March 25, 2014 Doug Johnson Testifies to Bankers’ Cybersecurity Role On March 26, ABA vice president and FSSCC vice chairman, Doug Johnson told the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee that the financial sector is unified in its efforts to fight cyber crime and is working effectively with public-sector partners to protect the financial system. In his testimony given on behalf of FSSCC, Johnson added that the banking industry strongly supports the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s cybersecurity framework and offered several recommendations for ongoing industry collaboration with NIST. January 8, 2014 FSSCC Releases Annual Report The Financial Services Sector Coordinating Council for Critical Infrastructure Protection and Homeland Security (FSSCC) released its 2012-2013 Annual Report during its December 2013 meeting held in New York.
