Doug Johnson, FSSCC Vice Chair, Testifies on Cybersecurity

On November 18, ABA vice president and FSSCC vice chairman, Doug Johnson, testified during the New York State Senate’s joint public hearing, “Cybersecurity: Defending New York from Cyber Attacks”. In the testimony, given on behalf of the New York Bankers Association, Johnson acknowledged the real and growing threat of cyber attacks against the financial services industry, including its customers, service providers and business partners. He spoke to the industry’s preparedness and outlined several efforts to actively and collaboratively address these threats through the FSSCC, FS-ISAC, and the FBIIC.
