President Obama issued a Presidential Policy Directive on Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience and an Executive Order for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity. Presidential Policy Directive-21 (which will replace Homeland Security Presidential Directive-7, issued in 2003) and the Executive Order will enhance both the physical and cyber security and resilience of our nation’s critical infrastructure.
